Baptist Global Response Training
Baptist Global Response (BGR) is a disaster relief and community development organization with a heart for helping people in desperate need.
BGR and its partners respond to people with critical needs, whether those needs arise from chronic conditions - like extreme poverty, contaminated water, or epidemic hunger - or acute crises - such as natural disaster, personal trauma, or social upheaval.
International Community Development Training
If you, your church or group are interested in addressing overseas needs such as poverty, hunger and poor health, BGR offers this two-day training that teaches the community development process in a participatory setting.
International Disaster Response Training
This two-day training will provide a body of information that will help responders and volunteers better prepare to help those in need after international disasters have struck. The objective of the training is to produce trained responders who can effectively and efficiently assist a community of disaster survivors and then possibly help that community get on the road to rehabilitation and reduce future vulnerability.
